of the Bulwer-Lytton contest have been announced. Personally, I think the runner-up is a better bad sentence.

I confess I'm not as impressed with this year's winners as previous years. They seem kind of lame, one might even say as as limp as that lettuce that's been in my fridge vegetable drawer so long it's just this side of liquid. :-)
I in fact prefer the Purple Prose winner.
