larryhammerEaglet is playing U10 soccer ⚽️ again (our winter season really is the best playing time) and wishes it be known that they did NOT vote for the team name of the Hollywood Pickles. They were lobbying for the Chicken Nuggets, but a majority of teammates voted otherwise.
I’m at a game now, and the parent next to me is wearing a pickle costume.
It’s gloriously silly.
(At halftime they are ahead 1-0, and the HPs went into the game with a 2-0-0 record.)
(ETA: final score against the Bananas was 1-1, so their record’s now 2-0-1.)
