The weekend before last, Eaglet helped me IKEA together their new, larger loft bed with a desk and shelving underneath. The help consisted mainly of fetching pieces and holding things in place for fastening.
This past weekend, I helped Eaglet assemble their ukulele. The help consisted mainly of fetching pieces and holding things in place for fastening, plus doing the actual stringing. (Knots are hard.)
I feel like some sort of developmental progress has been made.
(The uke has a decent sound, btw, though the strings go out of tune pretty fast. I’ve learned 5 chords so far (C, F, G, Am, and D) and really need to get my own instrument already.)
