Tortoid variations

Last night TBD stopped me mid-bedtime song and asked me instead to sign to Turtle. So I improvised:

Rock-a-bye Turtle, in the tree top
When the wind blows, its green shell will rock
When the bough breaks, the shell will fly
And up will go Turtle, into the sky

Repeat until asleep.

I have to admit, I had never realized how many lullabies can easily have "baby" replaced by "turtle."

That is because turtles are the best.
