Breaking news from the fast-moving halls of paleontology: the triceratops isn't.

That is to say, it isn't a separate species, but rather has been identified as a juvenile form of the somewhat similar torosaurus. Transitional forms and everything. Real deal.

We will now pause to mourn the passing dismissal of an icon.

If I could draw webcomics, I would draw a comic of a triceratops sitting on Pluto. The former dinosaur and the former planet could bewail their fates together. It would look sort of like Le Petit Prince.
