Quite a long time ago we could buy Tim Tims and other Arnott's biscuits (like Iced Vovos) in Pepperidge Farm outlet stores, where defective packages and slightly outdated cakes go to be snapped up by the budget-minded sugarholic. We got some lovely commemorative tins that way! Apparently the two (Arnott's and Pepperidge Farm) are owned by the same conglomerate, but local brand identity is strong enough (and important enough to maintaining sales) that they have not become some global cookie thing.

Tim Tams are all very well, but Caramel Crowns are a cookie to kill for.

Careful, they are not at all Target stores yet. I went to our local one and the manager, who had lived in Paris and knew what I was yearning for, said they weren't there yet.

I understand they are the real stuff.

You'd figure it'd be obvious if they weren't, given that our biscuits are more chocolate flavoured than chocolate ^_^

Also? NOT IN QUEENS OR BROOKLYN YET! *sigh*

I do not need Target Exclusive Jones Christmas Pear Soda or Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappuchinos! I need TimTams, darnit!

Your avatar is perfect, btw.

Will see what we can do about allowing for an actual side by side taste test - Greg says that they don't really go stale.

OTOH, they usually don't last long enough to go stale.

Wegman's grocery stores also carry them, but they're primarily in the NY/PA/NJ area.

Good to see such appreciation for Australian cuisine among the people of Uncle Sam. The Tim Tam is an excellent thing. Over here, they now have dozens of Tim Tam variations, as well...
