Coworker1: So when I brought my son in to work, a few weeks ago, he wanted to meet you, but you were on vacation.

Me: Um, sorry.

Coworker1: He said, "Can I see Laaaarry?"

Me: But, well, my brother-in-law was getting married.

Coworker2 (who'd been listening in): Oh, but he's just a brother-in-law.

Me: In Switzerland.

*pause*

Coworker1 & 2: (together) Oh, well, in that case ...
