Virgil only reprimands Dante for failing to ask. If she were a ninja, she'd be quieter, or at least less snippy.

It occurs to me that the manga adaptation should be called Dante and Virgil's Bogus Journey. And not just because Bill and Ted's second adventure was modeled after it: chibi-Dante's journey would be bogus.
