You decide which is which:
  • 24 Oct is World Origami Day in the USA and UK. Japan has to wait until 11 Nov. Apparently Japan ∉ {World}.
  • The Hittite law code prescribed death to any man who had sex with a sheep, dog, or pig, but exempted from punishment one who had sex with a horse or mule. We have no idea why.
  • The random euphemism generator makes me giggle because I am so twelve years old.
  • In many languages, the word for raccoon translates as "washing bear." The English name comes from Algonquian aroughcoune, "he who scratches with his hands."
  • Every single "I am the terror that flaps in the night!" from the first 30 episodes.
  • The real danger of writers living together is not a household of the artistic flakeness, or even the perils of a dual freelance income pattern. It's the temptation for crossover fics.

You're less likely to damage the horse or the mule?

The euphemism generator 'tis a fun thing.

I thought the horse/mule thing was a likelihood issue - they are just much more difficult to molest.

As for being too 12 years old and giggling at euphemisms ---- thank god it is not just me!!!! :)

Were the horse/mule folks specifically exempted, or merely not mentioned?

If the latter, I'd guess the law covered sheep, dogs, and pigs because they had problems with people molesting sheep, dogs, and pigs.

Most folks not passing laws against things unless they're an issue.

Implying people stopping people from molesting horses and mules was the perceived problem.

I was unclear--I meant the concern was about those people who would unjustly stop law abiding citizens from molesting mules and horses. They have to know they're not to interfere with such things, and we need a law to tell them.

I suppose it would depend on what I was delegating to the glass mushroom?

School is taking up my time. Also my mom said I would have to pay for my own plane ticket which... isn't happening. Next year, hopefully?

Have fun for me!

I sort of see my mom's point as well, I'm just broke. Hm. ...could... could it be happening to me, too? Could I be... growing up?!

Will await extra fun!

For all its hassles, growing up has its benefits. That whole I-can-make-my-own-decisions-and-control-my-life thing does seem to make up for an awful lot.

They have folks at cons who ship books; surely they'd ship some fun, too.

On the subject of being twelve years old, is it bad that I read the last link as "I am the terror that faps in the night!"?
