Amusingly, almost all English language Google results for klasar are tourist pages for Myvatn, a lake in northeastern Iceland. Of course, this may reflect the fact that Myvatn is the only place klasar appear on dry land.

Wow.
I especially like the quote at the end of the page about "As the tour includes interesting walks, warm clothes and good shoes are recommended".
Must be a new use of the word "interesting"

"Interesting" as in "you'll want to take them" -- and Iceland is, for better or worse, a place of rough rocks and unpredictable weather.

BTW, other guidebooks translate Dimmuborgir as "dark fortress," which I find more evocative than "dark castles."
