larryhammerFollowing up on my last update Eaglet’s robotics team, the state tournament was this weekend. The Duckbusters did not place in the top five and so did not advance to further tournaments (all those that did were largely middle schoolers, so ages 11-14, including another one from their school district), but they did good for a group of younger mostly rookies. In particular, they got better scores with each of the three robot challenge runs. The tournament (minus the group project presentations) was streamed, which means I can link to their challenge runs: round 1, round 2, round 3.
The announcers had fun with the team name, which was possibly part of the point of choosing it.
(Don’t tell them, but I love the team’s adorable hats.)
