Velvet worms: macro-sized tardigrades that look like squishy centipedes.

"Despite their size, velvet worms are arguably the big cats of the undergrowth. They have retractable claws, stalk their prey, and some even hunt in packs."

In the same way that various non-canine animal species are referred to as "[x] puppies" in order to indicate their adorability, I would not hate it if velvet worms began to be referred to as "slime kitties."

(The forcefully ejected nets of organic glue are kind of body horror, but here we are.)
