I keep forgetting that D.H. Lawrence very occasionally writes poems I like.

(My primary introduction to D.H. Lawrence was Sketches of Etruscan Places and I got so burned.)

I am right there with you on Lawrence. I assume from the formalism that this was a very early poem.
