Nie Yinniang was fascinating for its lacunae as well as for the actual story. I'm trying to read more wuxi, but it's so difficult because I have to read on the computer, which I hate--I can't figure out how to get them over to the iPad/Kindle app, which I can read sitting in my reading chair, or lying on the bed when I have to rest my joints.

I hear ya -- I vastly prefer not reading on either phone or Kobo over computer. I haven't investigated how to convert webnovels to Kindle, but there are widgets (including Chrome plugins) that do it for ePub format, so I suspect Kindle versions are out there.
