I'm sitting in our favorite local coffee shop on the last day it's open (the landlord turned the lease over to a chain sub shop). It's crowded, with lots of regulars telling the barristas they'll miss them.

The music for the past hour has been a mix of Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, and the like.
