I mean, if I'd known these things, I could have predicted the concert would be awesome. Even those times the taiko drummers leave the stage. Date: 10 October 2013 04:48 am (UTC)I once heard that the reason they're so beautiful is because it makes it less convenient to steal them and sell them as scrap (e.g. if you're caught with them it's immediately obvious where they came from; you can't plausibly claim that you didn't know they were manholes in active service, and neither can the scrap dealer; etc.)
