Still binging. But I can still at least pass on these:

A short video with really cool visuals by and mission personnel talking about Mars Rover Curiosity. (via)

Super-slow-motion videos of cheetahs running. As in, the first minute is one second of running. I love watching the head stay perfectly even amid all the motion. (via)

Ah, Tears for Fears.

I should be getting back to you before the week is out about those translations! Sorry it's taken me so long....

Oh, my! That cheetah footage is just truly wonderful. I know I've read that cheetahs are airborne for much of their running, but it was truly amazing to see the patterns of their gaits. And, as you pointed out, how steady the head stays, with hardly a bobble.

I totally read "binging" with a hard "g", as in "searching the web with Microsoft Bing". What an amazing twist: the idea that "bing" would become a verb alongside "google" was so amusing that people were inspired to actually use it, for ironic comedy purposes, which has rewired my brain so that it ACTUALLY DOES take precedence over real words.

This is horrifying. --Matt
