Thank you for the link to that warehouse wage slave article. It's really brought home to me the reality behind our culture of instant, cheap gratification.

I don't think conditions are quite as bad in the UK, as we have far stricter health and safety regulation (and also a government that wants to abolish said regulation as 'anti-business'). But even in the best conditions, a warehouse job reduces a human to a component. So I need to take a good hard look at my buying choices. Thanks again.
