Ha! -- and HA! I have been looking for an online version of this for at least six months. A bit of futzing with formatting, and I finally have it in ebook form. HA! I say.

I occurred to me this week that every single significant poem I've written in pentameter couplets has sold, while most of the more numerous blank verse and stanzaic forms, some of which I think of as my best work, are still doing the rounds after several years. I do not know why it took me so long to notice this, but I should possibly keep this in mind when considering whether to return to the Daddy Long Legs x A College of Magics thingy, which is in couplets, I started last summer but never finished.

It also occurred to me that it's been a long time since I've seen a Blue Screen Of Death. Maybe one in the last five years? These days, it's almost always a Blue Screen Of Projector Not Connected.

Current draft of my six-word memoir: Investigated / several poetic genres / including haiku.

And by way of shameless self-promotion, or at least self-signal-boost, I'm hosting this week's discussions on [community profile] poetree, focusing on translating from Japanese.

I'm not sure what tag to look for, but blue screens of death have turned up in a lot of on-the-street advertisements which are controlled by some kind of Windows device. (I particularly fondly remember seeing them in Madrid.) The crash-and-reboot dialog is even more frequently seen in the same (public, embarrassing-theoretically) context, even as big as a billboard.
