larryhammerI'm looking for a couple beta readers for A Desert Year aka The Book of Desert Leaves or whatever the final title it ends up with.
Poetry critiquing experience not required, though being a poetry reader probably is -- even simple yea/nope/meh/huh? responses to each poem would be helpful. Not that I would at all mind *cough* more detailed comments on the versecraft, or on sequence and omissions and repetitions. I especially want at least one local reader (to check accuracy) and one non-local reader (to check if it's comprehensible). This would not be on a tight timeline, which is just as well as it's a lot of reading: 366 poems = over 1800 lines. Short lines, but still, fair warning.
