larryhammerRegarding this question, actually, no -- one character, the ingenue who elopes twice with the same man, is not a ninja. And the story would be improved if she were. But all the others are, yes, ninjas, and fairly competent ones. So NRS for The Masqueraders = 1.
Incidentally, this is the first Heyer I've read I want to see filmed. And it'd be easy to do -- delete all the repeated scenes, and it strips down to a novella, which is feature movie length.
