Addenda to my Japanese recollections: Per my parents, I went to preschool for only the second half of our year, which explains a couple discontinuities. Also, I spoke Japanese mostly only with other children -- schoolyard Japanese. With Japanese adults, I would first try English, as if that was how you spoke to grown-ups.

Addendum to the trip back: When I was seven, I apparently remembered Katmandu, but I have no hint of it now.

Addendum to piano dreams: My fingers remember Clementi sonatinas better than even simple Bach. I am unsure whether to be amused or despairing.
