Recently bought albums I've listened to a lot this past week — song links are to YouSendIt till they expire:

1. Favorite, Elisa Korenne: "Find My Strength" ought to be an alt.country hit (well, for all I know it is), but what gets me is the beautiful, devastating "Butte."
   
   
2. Out of the Wilderness, Hilary Scott: It's only an EP but four of the five songs rock my world, which would be a good total for a full CD, and "Brave New World" is my new favorite break-up song.
   
   
3. ... this side of yesterday, Martha Berner: My new second-favorite break-up song is "Good Company" -- second only because it's more about recovering than breaking.
   
   
4. My Better Self, Dar Williams: Not as solid as The Green World (the part of the therapy song will be played on this album by a cover of "Comfortably Numb"), but I *lurv* "Echoes."
