It's in a book

Just before leaving for vacation a contributor's copy of The First Heroes arrived, too close to leaving to mention here that my story in verse, "The Myrmidons," really is in print. So I had good reading the whole thing while camping in Great Basin and Zion (details here). And a good anthology it is — it even includes an Epona story by dancinghorse. Not every tale is completely successful, but there aren't any clunkers.

So, yeah, I'd recommend it.

We snagged the last copy of First Heroes in the dealers' room at Balticon on Saturday morning.

I haven't been able to even look at it yet because I can't get it out of Steve's hands!
