Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is awesome. It’s an actual all-ages superhero comic in the Marvel main-line continuity, suitable for 5+ through adult. The very first issue, in which she deals with Kraven the Hunter while moving into the dorms as a university freshman, is entirely typical of the humor and her creative, empathic problem-solving - it’s worth nabbing volume 1 from the library to check out.
