Maybe baby!jock, maybe not (as you know). That described me pretty well, too, as far as continuing to outsprint boys as late as age twelve, such that they chose me to run anchor on relays in phys ed, but then I turned out not to be interested enough at any point to be a jock, despite the ease with which such things came. I dunno. One of my parents was definitely a jock--sports and drawing, nothing else. Maybe it's because I always had other interests, and it could've gone in any of several ways and just didn't go in that one?
