Boy would you be disappointed when checking out my nightstand. Even though I own some 12,000 books and counting (at the rate of about 10 per week), none of them rest at the side of my bed waiting to be read--or to be used as sleep inducers. I can't read in bead, so I do all my reading sitting in a comfy chair in our library/den/all-purpose room or in my office.
