Here's a linkshare that deserves a post of its own:
A Vimeo user who posts daily 4-minute videos of helicopter flyovers of the Kilauea East Rift Zone. Lava gushing from the earth, flowing down several glowing miles, till it pours into the ocean across a wide delta you can barely see through the steam streaming in the trade winds.
Awesome in several senses of the word.
The big vent is Fissure 8 (map, more), but you can see smoke from other fissures during certain wide shots. You don't need sound -- it's mostly just chopper, with the occasional eruptive groaning. And yes, that's a different rubber ducky on the dash every day. (via)
