Department of Signs of Middle Age: I put all the albums of U2 on shuffle, and found myself wanting to skip every song from after Achtung Baby.

I mean, it's not as if the last 20 years of music are a complete wash. And yet -- and yet.

* Which can be loosely defined as a form of comic haiku. Not very accurately, mind, but accurate enough for these purposes.
