More info about yesterday's ad: it's for a line of "adult" chocolates, part of a series featuring live-action versions of various Sanrio characters played by grown-ups.

Not quite as surreal as that, and probably even more fun, it's Star Wars characters reimagined as characters from a samurai movie (via). Considering Kurosawa's influence on Lucas, this is not much of a stretch at all. I especially like Ben and Luke.
