This mix has the extremely dumb conceit that every track is #6 on the album it's from -- I dumped all sixth tracks in my library into a playlist and chipped away everything that didn't fit with the rest until I reached the magic 80-minute CD. I regret that no renaissance lute, hammered dulcimer, or middle-eastern drumming made the cut -- though I did at least keep some raï and medieval dance, not to mention Vienna Teng being awesome. That the working title fits thematically only shows how eggregious it all is.
