"it's the terror of knowing what this world is about/watching some good friends scream Let me out"
Original version of the music video for "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie.
Revised and now official version, with the clips from Nosferatu replaced by ones from random horror movies.
I'm sure you'll all agree that the original is a marginally better video, but that in the end it just doesn't matter because the imagery throughout is still relevant today, and because of the end:

Can't we give ourselves one more chance---L.
Why can't we give love that one more chance
Why can't we give love, give love, give love, give love, give love ...
Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you
To care for the people
On the edge of the night
And love dares you
To change our way
Of caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves
Under pressure

No, it's all right—I just wanted to make sure I hadn't somehow managed to delete a comment you'd wanted to leave.

(Now mind, I have special reactions to that song. After the prom, a bunch of us drove down the Potomac and danced for an hour on the Lady Bird Johnson Memorial to that album. And believe me, that weird bronze wave-with-seagulls thing is something you remember for a long, long time. Especially when it's covered with tuxes and prom dresses.)
