larryhammer: a symbol used in a traditional Iceland magic spell of protection (icon of awe)

Four things

  1. I do not spend too much time with [livejournal.com profile] wordsofonebeat. I don't, I don't. I can stop when I want to -- now, in fact. Truth. I mean it.

  2. The house-name discount grocery-store milk chocolate in Switzerland costs CHFr .45 -- about US$ .33. It's better than the US$ 1.50 stuff available in the states. I actually liked it, and I'm a hardcore dark chocolate fan. (That said, the Lindt bar with 85% cocoa was a Bit Much -- dial it back to 75%, and we've got a perfect chocolate bar.)

  3. You know you're in trouble when one bad novel mocks a fictional romance with the same premise as another book on your TBR pile. You're also in trouble when, thirty pages into a Regency romance, you're bored and disgusted with everyone involved. (Note to [livejournal.com profile] pbray: None of these is the current reading.)

  4. What do you think are the chances of getting a reading_clarissa community that's as enthusiastic as [livejournal.com profile] reading_genji?

Clarissa as in the Richardson novel? I'd join. (Ditto Pamela or Evelina).

Yeah, I'd be up for Clarissa. She has a pet coffin named Dread Receptacle. Who could resist?

The name of that new group you made? There is no good way to say it, is there?

[identity profile] janni.livejournal.com 2005-12-06 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
No, not the name for any group. The name for that group. Its name is not a good word.

I keep wanting a metatopic where we can dicuss the joys and frustrations of word of one beat.

Called something like monosyllabicmeta? Only I'm sure that's too many words.
