I've mostly just watched that episode, and mostly the sequence where he initially hears the song on the radio and calls up the station to ask the dj what it's called and if he can play it again.

Although I'm also fond of the intro scene/framing narrative, where Joe is, in fact, reading the church announcement on Sunday, only to break off in the middle and ask the congregation if they've heard of the Who: "They rock! I heard one of their songs last Thursday and I haven't slept since!"
