It's very visually weird to have the figure that's vocalizing the Old Japanese be represented by someone in essentially Edo-period dress--as if you had the figure vocalizing Old English be wearing Elizabethan gear (well, I'm off a little time-wise, but you know what I mean). Still, interesting to hear!
