After several days of being earwormed by “Rhapsody in Blue” —which is not bad in itself, but it’d gotten rather tiresome to live in my brain, with that Always On—it has finally been partially displaced by “The Sound of Silence.” “Partially,” because now I’m hearing Simon & Garfunkel singing over an accompaniment of leaping jazzy arpeggios.
