Our favorite Japanese restaurant* has a small imports shop attached. It now carries a selection specialty origami papers. Pretty stuff. Pushers are always dangerous.

My company recently changed owners and name, and among the rebranding swag was a cube, with the new logo on the side, of what looks like 1000 sheets of square notepaper. Being a sensible sort, I concluded it's supposed to be used for folding 1000 paper cranes. Which I have started doing during meetings.**

Today I had a 24 crane meeting.

Geese are flying south.
From mountain and valley folds
birds come to my hand.

* Which is not the same as our favorite sushi place.

** People are used to this. I've been bringing sheets from my origami-a-day calendar to meetings, and before that, the paper-airplane-a-day.
