***** It is silly. It even gets lightly mocked when it finally comes up******** in the text.
****** Almost every library has them, too, so price is no excuse.

******** Very late in the last book, as it turns out. I suspect Pierce named the quartet too soon, before she realized how awkward it would be to work in.
